Queensborough Seeking a Women's Head Volleyball Coach

Queensborough Community College (Bayside, NY) is currently searching for a qualified, part time Head Women's Volleyball Coach. The Head Coach will organize, direct and administer the college's NJCAA DIII Women's Volleyball Program within the rules and regulations of the NJCAA, Queensborough Community College, the Region XV Athletic Conference and the CUNY Athletic Conference.

Nassau Men's Golf 4th In The Nation
Nassau Community College Men's Golf team took 4th place in the team competition at National Junior College Division III Men's Golf Championships. The Lions shot a team total 1244 for the four round tournament. The team dropped a spot on the final day when a golfer was disqualified on a technicality.

Mike Midgette tied for 3rd place in individual play, shooting a 297 and Ray Weinmann took 9th with a 303. Both scores qualify for NJCAA All-American.

Nassau Looking to Move Up in National Tournament
Nassau Community College Men's Golf team is in 3rd place going into the last round of the National Junior College Division III Men's Golf Championships. The Lions have a 926 team total for the first three rounds of the tournament. They are 10 strokes behind tournament leader Monroe Community College.

Mike Midgette continues to lead the team on the leaderboard. He is tied for 4th with a three round total of 224.

Nassau One Stroke Off Lead At Nationals
The Nassau Community College Men's Golf Team shot a combined 305 on the first day of the NJCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship. The team score puts them one stroke behind tournament leading Monroe Community College.

Mike Midgette is the first day team leader, shooting a 74 for the round. Midgette's score was good enough to put him in a tie for fifth on the leaderboard. Other team scores for the first round are Ray Weinmann - 75, Joe Arnold 77, Joe Ennis - 79, and Edger Sanchez - 92.

First Drive at 2010 XV Golf Tournament
The ceremonial "First Drive" of the 2010 Region XV Tournament by Town of Haverstraw Supervisor Howard Phillips.  This year's event was hosted by Rockland Community College and the Town of Haverstraw and was held at the Phillip J. Rotella Memorial Golf Course from May 3-5.
