| Orange County CC Men's Basketball Heading to Nationals! |

Region XV's Orange County Community College Men's Basketball team won the Division II, District 9 Championship Sunday by beating Region 19 Champion Lackawanna College on their home court. Orange beat Mercer CC on Saturday to advance to Sunday's Championship. The Colts (23-7) ended the game on a 20-7 run to seal the victory. The Orange was down by as many as 14 in the first half before clawing back to 42-39 at the half. Lackawanna came out strong in the second half and were up 76-67 with 7:00 minutes to go in the game. Ben Bowman's (30 points and 15 rebounds) layup with :51 seconds left put Orange up 82-81. Stefan Bonneau (13 points) hit 5 out of 6 free throws in the last fifty seconds to seal the victory. Gordon Hurley added Orange will represent Region XV and District 9 in the NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball National Championship to be held in Danville, IL March 22- 26.
