| Region XV Student Athletes Recognized for Academic Excellence and Athletic Achievement |
Six student-athletes from Region XV member schools were recognized on May 1st with State University of New York Chancellor's Scholar-Athlete Awards. The awards, presented at a ceremony held on the campus of Westchester Community College by SUNY Chancellor John R. Ryan, recognizes students for a combination of academic excellence and outstanding athletic achievement at the NCAA Division I, III and NJCAA levels. This year 71 student-athletes in 19 different sports were selected.
Representing Region XV institutions were the following students:

Audrey Sachs Westchester CC Bowling
Peter Marino Ulster CC Cross Country
Marissa Nash Suffolk Selden Softball
Craig Zecca Suffolk Selden Men's Tennis
Raquel Vamos Suffolk Selden Women's Tennis
Stephanie Larsen FIT Volleyball
