Nassau Community College scored a big victory over the weekend when they defeated the then number one team in NJCAA Division III Mens Soccer by a score of 3-0 in the Region XV Championships.

The win moved the Lions to the number two spot on the National Junior College Athletic Association D3 soccer poll. The loss dropped Suffolk-Selden to 9th in the poll. 

The Lions now plays Manchester CC at in the District 3 Tournament held at Nassau CC on Nov. 7th. Match time is 3pm.

A win in District 3  would qualify Nassau CC for the NJCAA Div. III National Men's Soccer Championships held November 14th at Herkimer County Community College in NY.
